Performance Focus
Elite sportsmen and women use hypnosis to enhance their breathing capacity and focus on visualising techniques to get themselves "into the zone" where exceptional performance becomes the norm.
These techniques are not just limited to the elite though - any one of us has this capability!

Most people create their own barriers to success. People are often unable to achieve levels of performance that accurately represent their true potential due to self-imposed stumbling blocks.
People, however, rarely see this as the reason. Instead, they focus on external reasons for their lack of success. They place the blame on poor equipment, bad coaches or trainers, the weather, their shoes, or the direction of the wind. The fact is that most of the time the main reason(s) a person does not perform up to peak ability comes from within him or herself. Using visualisation while in hypnosis is extremely powerful and many top athletes and entertainers have a hypnotherapist as part of their coaching team. Such as: Tiger Woods (golf pro): Since he was a child Tiger used a mixture of hypnosis, NLP, and visualization to help him to focus and improve his concentration. David Beckham (soccer pro): Visited a hypnotist privately to help him confront some of his personal issues. Steve Hooker (athlete): Won a Gold Medal at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games in the Pole Vault. He puts his success down to not only his dedicated training routines and high ambitions, but also to "hypnosis for helping me visualise my success time and time again". Lily Allen (singer): Lili used weight loss hypnosis successfully – she lost so much weight she dropped 3 dress sizes.... To find out more please email Irena-Marie on contact@focus-hypnotherapy.com

There is nothing that anyone can do to change what has already occurred. Dwelling on past events accomplishes nothing. Next, one must not anticipate the future. The future is unborn. Anticipation only serves to draw you away from the moment at hand. Be "In The Moment". Enjoy what you are doing. Life is too precious to waste time in negative thought or doing things that promote frustration.
Hypnotherapy can be a powerful tool to help individuals shift perception from negative to positive and to facilitate positive self-talk (reprogram for success). By eradicating negative perceptions and focusing on the positive, virtually anyone can meet their full potential. You can maximize both performance and enjoyment with the power of your mind. Cues are often used to trigger the hypnotically prepared mind-state. For instance, as soon as the golfer holds the club; the runner gets to the starting blocks or the singer focusing into the "zone" prior to going on stage. These act as convenient ‘switching on’ points. There are three main reasons why an individual cannot achieve their goals:
